S pochopením, empatií, vstřícností a sdílností.....to ani není problém. Nenechávat zahnívat staré křivdy...z větší části jde beztak o nedorozumění.... Obdobné situace se děly třeba když uviděl v televizi nebo kdykoliv reklamu na jakýkoliv alkohol - pivo, víno,...opět tiráda (vždy ta samá) jak to někdo může pít,....blah blah.....má poznámka, že už jsem to slyšela tisíckrát mi taky vysloužila nářez..... Jenže já to slízla i když ve dvě v noci usnul ve vaně a utopil si nějakou publikačku - byla to moje vina, že jsem ho nechala usnout....argument jak prase, zvlášť když já v té době mezi 1-2 ráno, kdy se chodil nakládat do vany, už vždycky spala...
Tomee - odpovídala jsem Hildegardě a flankerovi, odvíjelo se to od předchozí diskuse, pointa je, že život s alkoholikem je stejně nesnesitelný jako se zapřísáhlým abstinentem. A hlavně - každá diskuse se vždycky vrátí k původnímu tématu sama - je to fyzikální zákon diskusí v topiku :-) Buď to zrovna ty, kdo přijde s další větou grrm a nahoď udici....

Dneska ráno jsem na westeros.org fóru narazila na anglický překlad Q&A, které měli fanoušci na GRRM ve Španělsku. Vzhledem k tomu, že jde o překlad ze španělštiny, nebude to asi vždycky doslova... Je tam pár zajímavých informací o další knížce i o minulosti, Valýrii atd.

A: Well it could have been either, I’ll let you think about that. But it could also have been just Gregor. He’s a killer beast, he doesn’t need for anyone to tell him to kill.
Q: If Doran and Mellario were arguing because he wanted to take the children away, why did she leave? A: Well… this marriage, in contrast to the others in the series, wasn’t about politics or alliances. It was for love. Doran was a prince, attractive in his youth, and Mellario fell in love with him. Like in real life, two people are attracted to each other and join their lives. But then love can fade, and so things come up that can separate you. It also helped that where Mellario is from, the custom of sending your children away to other places was unthinkable, and she didn’t understand it. So there were several factors, and in the end nothing held her to Dorne anymore.
Q: Taking into account that there’s a horn to summon krakens, will we see any krakens in action? A: Hmmm… there’s a possibility. Not too high, but there is.
Q:The dead direwolf and the six pups. Is it a sign from the gods? Is the three-eyed crow? There are those who see a symbolism in the death of the direwolf by a stag’s horn (Stark-Baratheon). A: Both interpretations could be valid. Or not. You have to take into account that I really like including details, clues and symbolism everywhere in my books. But it wouldn’t be right that I myself point out which are the symbols and where they are. This is the reader’s job.
Q: The Lannisters and the Freys have so many relatives, while there are very few Starks. Didn’t Ned have any distant relatives that could claim Winterfell? A: It’s true that right now the Freys and the Lannisters have very large families. The Starks are few now. But there were many factors to this: in the North, conflicts are habitual; branches of the Starks have separated from the main family long ago and formed their own House (the Karstarks for example, but there could be more…)… and you have to take into account the situation at the moment: we already know how Ned’s children are; Brandon died before he had sons, and Lyanna is also dead, and Benjen joined the Night's Watch which means he doesn't have descendants either. And there’s something else to consider: the North is special. In the North not everyone can rule. Q: The Targaryens saved themselves from the destruction of Valyria, heading to Dragonstone with their dragons. But the other people of Valyrian descent don't seem to have dragons. Were the Targaryens the only ones? A: Well, you could say that the Targaryens were the only noble family with dragons that escaped the Doom, yes.
Q: Now that we know how the "Meereenese knot" developed, what was the problem with this part. The order of the arrivals of the characters coming to see Dany? When and how the dragons were freed, and who did it? A:Well, I've already explained the problem I had with this part. A multitude of factors converged: we began with Xaro's offer, which upon getting rejected turned Xaro into an enemy and caused him to declare war; we had Dany's marriage to pacify the city; the arrival of the Yunkish army at the gates of Meereen; we had the order of the characters coming to see Dany (Tyrion, Quentyn, Victarion, Aegon, Marwyn); furthermore, we had Daario, the dangerous mercenary that Daenerys actually likes, the plague, the return of Drogon... You have to understand that all of these are balls thrown into the air, and that they have to cross and land chronologically: that the arrival of any character, whether before or after, affects all of the others, as well as Drogon's return to the city. To give you an example, I wrote three versions of Quentyn's arrival, one where he got there much earlier, one where he got there later, and one where he arrived the day before the wedding (which was the final version). And I tried to write all three for comparison, and to see how it affected the other characters, including one who has not yet arrived there.... I know that I have restated the plot from top to bottom to respond to this, but it was to make you all understand the enormous difficulty that I found to fit everything in chronologically.
Q:Why did Melisandre (initially) leave to meet Stannis? Did she see something at the flames and went of her own accord, or is she following orders? At no moment one gets the sense that she is following orders as we know that, say, Moqorro is. A: Yes, Melisandre is going of her own accord, she has her own agenda.
Q: Is Dragonstone just a simple vulcano and so the deeper you go the hotter it gets, or is there something of old Valyrian magic in its depths? A: Well, if we take into account the way Dragonstone is built, and that in some places the rocks fit together in a way that implies magical intervention… yes, we could say that there’s something of old Valyrian magic there.
Q: In ASOIAF, we see that marriages in important families are almost always to form bonds and gain power and alliances. In this context, Tywin’s marriage to his cousin always seemed queer, even more so knowing Tywin. Did he really marry for love? A: (long, long pause) Hmmm… it could be love, yes. And also one should take into account that he tried doing the same thing the Targaryens did: not mix his blood with any other family’s to keep it pure.
Q: Is there a small possibility that we’ll see Valyria? A: Well… there could be. Not too high, that’s for sure. Chances are that it will be a memory or a flashback.

Tu otázku s Mellario jsem si kladla taky, ale mistr na ni zrovna neodpověděl. V podstatě to vysvětlil ta, že to pro ni bylo spíš záminkou, nebo ještě líp, příčinou, proč přestala Dorana milovat, že mu nerozuměla. Ale Trystane je ještě maličký, je zvláštní, že ho opustila.
